We believe in creating authentic Philly-style food experiences.

Our mission is to create unforgettable mobile food experiences for our customers — one moo-ment at a time.
OUR STORY
Fresh, homestyle, quality ingredients are pivotal parts of our food philosophy, but what about us? With over 30 years of catering experience, our team has been equipped with the knowledge, customer focus, and skills to consistently create memorable food experiences. Our humble beginnings started under the name WizWit Catering. After all, we are true foodies at heart and we noticed that in order to get that iconic piece of Philly food culture, you had to go out there and get it yourself. Where is the fun in that? This is where our one-of-a-kind towable, custom stainless steel cheesesteak grill was born. We were ecstatic to cook up authentic Philly cheesesteaks for our customers and their party guests on-site. And that we did.
As we grew and evolved, we welcomed what would be our company’s next evolution. You see, we knew we were onto something big. People were able to bypass big city traffic to experience a taste of Philly when friends and family were visiting for a gathering. They were able to enjoy each other’s company— and an authentic cheesesteak—while at their event. So, after years of operating with our towable grill, naturally, we decided it was time to upgrade what we could bring to you.
There's no doubt about it. The cheesesteak sandwich is a pretty iconic piece of Philly food culture. It's our city on a roll. And now we’re proud to bring it out to you on a food truck under our new and improved brand. Moo-ve over Wizwit. The Lost Cow has found its way here and we’re letting it stay a while.
WE LOVE WHAT WE DO
The Lost Cow is proud to be the oldest catering company serving Philadelphia, Lancaster, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties that can bring authentic steak, onions and whiz cheese on locally made rolls to your party and have them cooked on-site. If you’re looking for a Philly-style celebration, you can call out for The Lost Cow and we’ll roam on over.
LOOKING FOR MORE THAN SANDWICHES?
The Lost Cow is part of a bigger herd—Premiere Venue Group. Alongside our sister catering brands and a collection of unforgettable venues, we offer everything you need to pull off an epic event. From food trucks to full-service catering to one-of-a-kind spaces, we’ve got you covered.
